説明

春画の場合大抵20丁ぐらいのは定番だ。これほどまるで長編小説のような巨作は前代未聞。しかも三分の二の内容に見開き挿絵が入っていることも吃驚仰天。特に極彩色女陰細密絵が抜群、最高レベルと言うまでもない。

日本語で女性器について、おまんまん、おめこ、ぼぼ、ホーミー、めちんちん、ピー、具(ぐ)、割れ目、コーマン、メンコゥ(Mencow)などの俗称はくつかの例を示す。それ以外下記のような多種多様な名称も覚えときましょう。

陰核(いんかく):クリトリス、クリクリ、オクリクリ、クリット、クリちゃん、まめ、まめさん、女芯、花芯、さね(実/核)。

膣(ちつ):ヴァギナ、ワギナ、下の口、あそこ、蜜壷。

ほと:古い日本語で女性器を意味する単語。御陰、陰所、女陰の字を宛てることが多い。

汚門戸:江戸時代に生まれた女性器の蔑称(漢字表記)。

玉門(つび):陰門の古名。

観音様・弁天様:昔から使われている女性器の隠語。

This is an unpublished SYUNGA manuscript. It is not the most expensive in my collection, but it is my favorite.

Anonymous, painted circa 1900-1920, the shells and chestnuts on the cover correspond to female organs and multiple children in Japanese.

The plot is similar to the French “The Pleasures of Marriage”, describing the sex life of a young couple. It should be noted that SYUNGA usually does not exceed 20Chio (1Chio=2page) regardless of the published or manuscript.

This manuscript is 49Chio (88 pages), and its length is comparable to a novel. And more than two-thirds of the text is accompanied by folio engravings, which are unique so far.

The detailed and colorful depiction of female organs has reached the pinnacle of ukiyo-e. In addition, it must be emphasized that this manuscript is written by women, whether it is written or painted, and it is original, without borrowing from common ukiyo-e subjects.

Judging from the binding, calligraphy, and painting style, the author should be Ladylike from Kyoto. She has literary and aesthetic accomplishments beyond Superman. Regrettably, we will never know her true identity.

Depending on the scene, the author uses many interesting words to describe female organs in the book, such as “abalone”, “shell”, “flower heart”, “tongue”, “chestnut”, “mantou”, “Guanyin” and meat bun. These beautiful words occasionally appear in Edo period ukiyo-e works, but it is clear that women know their bodies better than men.

I made an oriental “box”. Look, the effect is not bad. It is handmade by an 89-year-old man in Beijing. At present, there are no more than 10 people in China and Japan who can make this kind of box.
