説明
お酒を注くと、盃底に和服美人(芸妓)の顔を表す滅多に出ない伝説中の透かし入り酒杯。表裏とも丁寧に手作り、肉厚な彫りも立派。状態良。明治時代貿易輸出用。終戦後アメリカ軍が珍宝として大量爆買いのため、現在日本ではその姿がほぼ見えなくなった。
A set of 5 wine glasses (a typical Japanese style, a set of 4 if it is China), handmade around the end of the 19th century, pouring wine or water, and showing the head of a woman in a kimono. purchased at the antique store of(了仙寺) ryozenji, an 89-year-old man.
These were specially prepared for foreign tourists since the end of the 19th century, were destroyed by the US military after World War II, and are now hard to buy.
