阿尔宾·布鲁诺夫斯基（Albin Brunovsky，1935-1997）是东欧少有的野兽派艺术家之一，在斯洛伐克更是国宝一样存在的大师级画家。其作品异常多样丰富，无论版画、藏书票还是邮票，对观众极具吸引力。在欧洲被誉为“上帝之手”，其所设计的邮票多次被选为“最美”。此为画家生前唯一出版的作品集，罕见签名本。

此书购于美国西部偏僻小镇，书店标语颇有内涵：“读几本旧书，学一些新知识”。店主是一位默默无闻的女诗人，留言也充满了诗情画意：
