Winstanley Cats are the creation of the late Jenny Winstanley, who sculpted an unsurpassed range of life-like handmade ceramic cats, dogs and hares. The Winstanley family carry on the tradition in the Winstanley pottery on the Norfolk Broads. Each piece bears the Winstanley name. These models are traditionally slipcast in earthenware and hand fired by kiln. Each is then hand painted by a small team of artists, ensuring that each cat has its own distinctive individual colour and pattern.
